Like it says on the tin… Read the interview, then go buy his latest novel, Disappearance at Devil’s Rock.

I’ve read Disappearance and, quite frankly, the novel did not meet my high expectations. I loved HFOG, which was my favorite novel that year. I’ve also enjoyed Paul’s short fiction.
Disappearance felt padded to me: a novella stretched into a novel. That could just be me. I’m a fan of brevity.
Regardless, as with your work, Paul has built up much good will with this reader and his work is disappointment-proof.
I look forward to his next creations.
