Stephen Graham Jones has a new werewolf novel in the wings and it sounds like a doozy.

  1. Kevin says:

The werewolf is tops. It’s the monster of choice for those who love life with a great appetite. The horrors and beauties it offers. Thinking how marvelous the adventure is.

I think also that it is embedded deep in our mythical realities. All warrior cults involve the wolf if the animal is native to their landscape. The Korios, the berserkers. The heroic dead as hounds/wolves in the Wild Hunt and Furious Host.
Even some cultures sharing similar etymologies between “wolf” and “outlaw”.

So basically. I’m excited for this book!
Also, “X’s for Eyes” was a lot of fun!! Loved it.

  2. Fenris Technique says:

“Doc’s Story” was, IMHO, Stephen Graham Jones best work in After the People Lights Have Gone Off. If he can bring the same magic to a novel-length werewolf tale we’re all in for a treat.
