Watch This: –30–to the Silver Screen
17February 13, 2015 by Laird
I wrote “–30–” as a raffle prize for the Shirley Jackson Awards back in 2010. Now Philip Gelatt backed by Reno Productions will be adapting it for film. Thanks, gentlemen. And thank you to Janet, Pouya, Bradley, and the team at FinePrint Literary Management and New Leaf Literary & Media.
I’ve spoken at length with Philip (writer of the spooky science fiction gem Europa Report) and am pleased with his concept for the adaptation. More news as it develops.
How very exciting! Congrats!
Thanks, Nick.
Woo Hoo!!! Excellent, Good Sir!
Hi, Sharon–thank you.

i can use the f word here, right?
F as in emphatic!
I’m thinking it. 😉 Thanks!
Nice!
Thanks, Ryan.
Congrats, Laird. I thought The Europa Report was a cracking movie, so I’m sure you’re in good hands.
Pete–ER is a good one. I have faith in Philip Gelatt.
Hooray! I loved this story! It contained two of my favorite topics: wildlife and cults. Kudos.
Thank you, Dawn. Topics near and dear to my heart as well.
Such fantastic news, Laird. Huge congrats on this, and may it lead to more Barronic stories on the flickering screen.

Any updates on the film, Laird?
