According to Dr Locrian @ the Thomas Ligotti Online forums “Tom doesn’t know anything about this book or why his name is included as one of its contributors.”

Curious. ETA probably something better taken up by Ligotti, if there is something to take up, than passed down through the grapevine.

Do you know if it will be published in English as well?

You hurt some feelers with this one, if you didn’t know:

I wouldn’t be concerned. The author of that thread seems to have a hard time stringing words and thoughts together in any cohesive fashion.

I actually ran across that thread while trying to decipher who the various characters in the story represented. ‘The Beautiful Thing That Awaits Us All’ is among the finest collection of short stories I’ve read in the genre, and a personal favorite of mine, but I was a bit befuddled by the inclusion of ‘More Dark’. It had a sort of ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back’ feel to it . . . like you needed to be an insider to truly appreciate the work. So I took to Google looking for clues and that thread on TLO is what I found. I still don’t know who all the characters were supposed to be, but I know who the angriest one is! Whoo!

Looking forward to the next collection.

    Thanks, Fenris.
