Nice writeup. I’m reading Porlock this evening.
One of my friends read it and Mysterium Tremendum while camping.
I could not read it in the woods. It’s among the finest weird stories I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. I read the end pages with the dude in the stovepipe hat out loud to Joe tonight. He loved it too. I was reminded a lot of Cormac McCarthy when I read it. And that’s pretty damn cool. Keep this fiction coming. I need it. 🙂
Thanks, man. I like that part of the world–the Olympic Peninsula and its huge forests and mountains…
I’ve been to Seattle once. Very green and wet. I felt like I was in a different country. It’s beautiful.
