That’s a great list, but does this mean that we’ll soon start to see average TV viewers reading Thomas Ligotti and Robert Chambers in between gulping down the latest David Baldacci novel and running the kids to soccer practice? I think I smell a plot for worldweird domination!

True detective does remind me of Laird at his best- grizzled backwoods people caught up in their own schemes usually involving dismemberment.
It would be nice for HBO to get a chain around Laird’s ankle- and put him to work- his fiction is screaming for the screen-!
I totally agree! I think it may just be a matter of time until we see a new HBO series with Laird Barron attached to it!
